Werewolf only works when everyone plays for their own side. Read the game guidelines: play for your team and your role, do not betray your team, keep the game inside the game, and stay quiet once you are dead.
When your role changes
Some roles change during a game: the Wild Child, the Cursed, the Traitor, the Doppelgänger, the Thief. Play for your side as it is now. A Wild Child plays for the village until their role model dies, and for the wolves after.
